Mark Whiting, director at Added Value France, will present an ESOMAR webinar on Measuring Emotions, Quantifying a Love Affair. 

This webinar will focus on the methods used to measure emotions, and is the companion piece to an ESOMAR workshop led by Mark Whiting, which takes place at the ESOMAR Academy in June.

Emotions are very important in building strong relationships between brands and consumers but defining those emotions and measuring consumer’s emotions towards brands can prove to be difficult. What participants will get out of this webinar is an understanding of why emotions are central to building strong relationships (between consumers and brands, citizens and government, employees and employers…), an overview of the insights that neuroscience is providing into emotions (what are they, and how they manifest) and of the criteria that can be used for evaluating the suitability of different market research methodologies in helping to measure emotions effectively.
