Added Value UK is awarded The Sunday Times 100
02 Mar 2012|Added Value
This week our UK team was awarded a place in The Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies To Work For 2012. It’s one of the biggest employee surveys in the UK, with over 500 companies in the running. We were also credited with a 2 star Best Company award. (Best Companies Accreditation follows the elite ‘Michelin style’ star rating system for companies that demonstrate high levels of employee engagement. One star is first class, two stars are outstanding and three stars are extraordinary).
The Top Companies survey itself covers all sorts of areas which give an indication of the culture of the company and what it’s like to work there. Team, Leadership, Management, Personal Growth, Wellbeing and Benefits are all factors which contribute to an overall score. People who work with us may not be surprised to know that our highest ratings were on team spirit (we know how to work hard and play hard of course), employee engagement and the results showed huge support for our UK leadership team.
The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday 22nd February in Battersea London. A cross section of Added Valuers from the UK office attended the gala awards dinner, glitzed up and suited and booted.
It was glamour galore – torches burning at the entrance, a ceiling of sparkly lights, champagne all round. Everyone was turned out in their finery but there wasn’t a hint of stuffiness in the room, just a buzz of excitement and obvious pride amongst all who were there
Amy Harrison, Project Director.
The award recognises the things that are important to us, and signals what it’s like to work for – and with – us. We’re a company that values its people, actively creates a culture that feels inclusive and consultative – and allows us to have fun in the process.
Tisha Ubayasiri, Director of Talent.
We’re very proud to be part of the top 100 companies to work for in the UK. Roll on next year.
